Definition of Terms
To distinguish Math Log from the Management, Math Log is the service referred by these terms. Meanwhile, the Management is the entity operating the site. For this site, the Management is represented by a single person who is Fernan Salibongcogon, a Mathematics teacher who is the sole proprietor of the site.

 

Using Math Log
“Math Log” is a web-based math resource serving as the official eClassroom of Fernan Salibongcogon. Any user of Math Log can do the following when enabled:

  • Create an account
  • Post a blog entry;
  • Comment a blog entry;
  • Interact with other members of the community through comment syndication and chat
  • View posts shared by other members

Upon using this service, you must follow all the policies and guidelines made available to you.

 

Registration and Users
In order to use Math Log and its features, you must first be a human learning mathematics. That’s all.

 

Privacy
Your privacy is very important to the management. Please read our Privacy Statement to make important disclosures about how you can use Math Blog as an online community to share, interact, and exchange resources with others and how the management collect and can use your content and information. Please use this to help you make informed decisions.

 

Sharing Your Content & Information
Math Log may allow users to share, send, and receive content. Every content and information posted through the site is owned by the user who shared it. However, the user must observed “intellectual rights” for content and information they do not own. This means, they are encouraged to use proper credit if it is necessary. Moreover, any user of Math Log shall not use the site logo unless he/she is authorized or approved by the management.

Math Log may share some content shared by the members of the community in a condition that the owner/s of the content allows the management to share it. This service may also provide some content that is not related to mathematics. This content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. The management may review content to determine whether it violates our community policies. Moreover, the management receives the right to remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our community policies or the law.

 

Safety
The management does its best to keep Math Log safe. However,  your help is needed to realize this. The following are things strictly prohibited on this service:

  • Spamming
  • Illegal Collection of User’s Content or Information shared in the site
  • Unlawful marketing such as Pyramid scheme
  • Pornographic materials
  • Upload viruses or malicious codes
  • Bullying and Discrimination

 

Respecting Other Users
Math Log respects people’s rights and expect other users of the site to do the same. The management commits to the principles of non-discrimination and non-violence. Any user may post something on his/her own freewill. However, a user should observe limitations grounded on the principles of non-discrimination and non-violence. This means, hate speech towards another user is discouraged in this site. The management receives the right to remove comments that violates this policy.
